July 8, 2024The NARRATE project held its first General Assembly with all consortium members in June 2024 at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology IPK in Berlin.
The NARRATE project, which stands for “regeNerAtive Resilient smaRt mAnufacTuring nEtworks”, is a three-year initiative funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europeserve programme. The project consortium consists of 12 industry leaders from 6 European countries (Spain, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy and the UK). The innovative manufacturing initiative aims to provide European ecosystem actors with the ability to anticipate and better understand the impact of unforeseen events on manufacturing and industrial production; the appropriate technologies to rapidly adapt logistics and production to external conditions, improving the resilience and sustainability of processes; and to raise awareness of smart manufacturing networks that are resilient and capable of self-adapting to external threats.
“We are delighted to be convening our consortium members for this important General Assembly,” said Mike Papazoglou, Technical Manager of the NARRATE project. “By working together and leveraging our collective expertise, we are confident that we can make significant progress in improving the overall resilience of the supply chain.”
